Who can Register with Mourne Sure Start?
Mourne Sure Start services are available to those who live in the Kilkeel Central 2 and Kilkeel South 2 areas of the town. If you live in one of these areas and you are pregnant or care for a child who is aged 0 – 4 you can register for free with Kilkeel Sure Start.
(If you are in doubt about whether you are eligible to register then please contact us and we can check your address for you).

Kilkeel Sure Start aims to:
- Improve the ability to learn by encouraging stimulating play, improving language skills, and the early identification and support of children with learning difficulties.
- Improve health by supporting parents in caring for children and promoting children's health and development
- Improve social development by supporting the development of early relationships between parents and children, good parenting skills, family functioning and early identification and support of children with emotional, learning and behavioural difficulties.
